ESTHER CAMACHO CEREZO
Profesora, Artista Visual; Fotógrafa/Videógrafa. Bilingüe Inglés-Español.
Licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad del País Vasco (UPV-EHU), Esther fue becada y completó sus estudios en la University of West England, Faculty of Arts, Media and Design, en Bristol, Inglaterra. En 2009 obtuvo la titulación de Aptitudes Pedagógicas especialidad Lengua Inglesa y Arte (UCJC) y en el año 2010, Esther Camacho Cerezo obtuvo el Máster en Práctica Escénica y Cultura visual del Museo Reina Sofía Madrid.
Esther Camacho Cerezo está interesada en habitar las fronteras entre lo performativo y las artes visuales, entre Ciencia y Arte. Ha expuesto su trabajo visual tanto nacional como internacionalmente; Getxoarte, Viphoto, Bilboargazki y Format Festival UK, entre otros. Ha trabajado con investigadores, como docente y fotógrafa en Dublín, Londres, Universidad de Nottingham, para galerías y museos. Mientras estaba trabajando en Museo Nacional Arqueológico de Chipre, comenzó uno de sus últimos proyectos con los que fue artista becada para BilbaoArte (2019). En la actualidad compagina su actividad docente con sus proyectos artísticos y exposiciones.

ESTHER CAMACHO CEREZO

Graduated in Fine Arts from the (UPV-EHU), Esther was awarded a grant to study at the University of West England, Faculty of Arts, Media and Design, in Bristol, England. In 2009 she got her Teacher qualifications specialized in English & Art, in 2010 she was granted for her Master’s Degree in Arts Practice and Visual Culture at the Reina Sofía Museum Madrid.
Esther Camacho Cerezo is interested in inhabiting the frontiers between the visual practice and the performance practice, between Science and Art. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally: including Getxoarte, Viphoto, Baffest, Bilboargazki and Format Festival UK among others. Esther has worked with researchers, as a teacher and as a photographer in Dublin, London, at Nottingham University, also for galleries and museums. She began one of her latest projects while she was working at the Archaelogical museum in Cyprus, project with which she was granted at the BilbaoArte Foundation (2019). Nowadays she combines her work as a techer with her artististic projects and exhibitions.
